YouTube Content Partnerships Manager
Jin-Ah Yang is the Content Partnerships Manager at YouTube, where she oversees all YouTube initiatives in Malaysia. Her objective is to grow the viewership, increase monetization opportunities and build thriving communities of local content creators, broadcasters and publishers on YouTube.
Before her focus on Malaysia, she was the APAC Creator Strategist facilitating YouTube's product launches, informing creators data-driven strategies on how to grow on the YouTube platform. During this time, she produced and delivered numerous product trainings for Creators, including her involvement at VidCon 2017 in Melbourne.
In 2012, she was a pivotal member on the Google marketing team to work with K-Pop music labels in 2012 to expand their reach to the level they are today. Jin-Ah was also one of the founding members of the first YouTube Partner Operations team in Asia, which now serves to support all creators in the APAC region.
Aside from her work at YouTube, Jin-Ah is a trekking enthusiast, and an ex-radio DJ from Seoul, currently based in Singapore.
